BAGA BEACH , GOA

Baga Beach is also one of the  popular beach and tourist destination , located just adjecent to the most popular calangute Beach in North Goa .Baga is located at the north end of the contiguous beach stretch that starts from Sinquerim, Candolim, leads to Calangute and then to Baga. .

The beach contains rows of shacks and fishing boats, and at high tide the beach is narrow. Baga Beach is basically famous for parasailing, water sports (banana ride) and dolphin cruises. Dolphins can be located at around 1–2 km from the shoreline at Baga .

The beach is named after the Baga Creek, which empties into the Arabian Sea at the north end of the beach.

CALANGUTE BEACH , GOA

The calangute Beach is the most popular Among all the beaches in GOA and according to their beautiful structure and  popularity known as the " Queen of Beaches " in GOA. The calangute remains the largest beach in north GOA located in north east from the state capital panjim at 15 kilometers which stretches for about 2km from candolim from the south when it reaches Baga to the north.

The beach is wide with white soft sand, but the sea is rough. The calangute beach GOA discovered in 60s by hippies so it is famous since then , where a true splendid Goan beach life & culture can easily have seen and experience by someone, .The full beach area accommodate with so many beach-side resorts , Goan restaurant called shacks and few stalls under the shade of palm trees selling everything from fried prawns and beer, to trinkets made of seashells. Its rainbow hued canvas has welcomed everyone to it always although it became popular across the globe.

This beach offers an opportunity to enjoy great time with involvement in the water sport activities—surfing, water skiing and para sailing and many more. There are also some other tourist attraction in and around calangute such as some popular churches to visit ,  Art gallery & Exhibition and a small calangute market  selling Indian and western traditional cloths and other artistry things.



Most suitable occasion to visit this beach is Christmas and New Year eves while it welcomes enough rush. It also witnesses large number of tourists representing many age groups visiting in the summers.
